Following the removal of the original brick ponywall, Lyndsay and Leslie expertly repositioned the wood-burning fireplace to a more open angle. They adorned it with a stunning floor-to-ceiling tile surround that exudes elegance and serenity. A true Pacific Northwest essential, the authentic wood fireplace was a must have keep from the original design. The use of Sandy Beech flooring throughout this space was a brilliant move, as its calming tones seamlessly contributed to the tranquil and earthy atmosphere. The transformation of this area indeed marked a significant change for the entire home.

Entertaining is of utmost importance of a southern home, Lyndsay and Leslie turned this house into a home with the inviting kitchen and dining space built for a large family. The perfect entertaining space for any social people.
Lyndsay and Leslie wanted to make sure they added the most value to this home, they were able to do that by putting in these bi-fold doors out to the patio. With the household "dishwasher" in mind, the girls made sure to provide them with a great view of the homes spacious outdoor space. These doors allow for the interior and exterior space of this home to become seamless, a perfect flow from both spaces, ideal when entertaining large groups.
With a gorgeous gas range this kitchen would fit for any type of chef. Double oven access and bottom warming drawer would make any kitchen lover jealous. Fun fact, Lyndsay and Leslie put in the hard work and installed the gorgeous shining tile backsplash themselves.
Lyndsay and Leslie added a the touch of Southern hospitality to this kitchen with a custom sweet tea bar. The bar features a filtered pot filler and all the sweet tea extras you'd need! Wood paneling accent on wall brings the beautiful JetCore XL Country Retreat tones up to another part of the kitchen, an amazing textural pop of wood.

Fun Fact: In order to stop spirits from entering you house, Charleston superstition says they need to be distracted with something to read. Lyndsay and Leslie took this historical knowledge to heart and displayed vintage maps as wallpaper for the spirits to read and become distracted from meandering throughout the rest of the house! These girls did their local historical research!
Lyndsay and Leslie were able to create a beautifully cohesive space using natural tones and textures throughout. Bringing the dark wood tones from the JetCore XL - Country Retreat flooring up to the 10' ceiling, the girls added these custom beams. The added texture and dark tones bring a richness to this space. More natural dark wood tones were added with the floating wood shelves on the side of the mantel. We absolutely love this space.
Lyndsay and Leslie added a pop of color to this Living space with this beautiful green accent wall. With natural greenery throughout the space this bright accent color is seamlessly strewn about this space. Natural subtle colors from the upholstery and flooring are a great neutral base to allow the green and yellow accents shine.
Lyndsay and Leslie during their travels happened to pass an estate sale in Charleston, SC and found this gorgeous vintage mantel, originally crafted in 1813 this now surrounds a beautiful arched gas fireplace, a welcoming and cozy feature in this home. A total embracing of Charleston's rich history, Lyndsay and Leslie completely refurbished this mantel and brought it to modern life, adding footers to the base to bring it up to current 2022 code requirements. This mantel is sure to be a conversation piece for any cocktail hour with its long history going back over 200 years.
Ample seating for your guests and accent tables for their drinks & snacks, you can host comfortably in this space. Built in's on either side of the mantel provide additional storage for games and blankets. A lux black and white backsplash accents the custom wet-bar flanking the fireplace, guests can feel free to help themselves to a cocktail here, or stroll into the Kitchen for a non-alcoholic alternative at the sweet tea bar. The winning main suite! Leslie and Lyndsay turned the bedroom portion of this suite into a cozy comfortable space by bringing in the natural colors and eclectic vibe from throughout the home. Added shine with gold accents in the lighting and bed posters push the glamor of this room over the top. Continuing our Country Retreat - JetCore XL flooring into the bedroom and closet spaces the wood accents in the furniture and decor really tie the whole space in naturally and cohesively.
A big reason for winning this episode of RockTheBlock was Lyndsay and Leslie's decision to add a washer and dryer in the main suite closet. The judges felt this addition added an amazing amount of value for any potential home owner. The girls chose to take from square footage from the exterior and interior to make this closet so massive! A smart winning choice.
We are absolutely obsessed with this closet space. So much storage any fashionable person would be happy to fill this closet with their clothes, shoes, and bags. Continuing the accent wall green from the bedroom and the custom deep blue closet system really makes this glamorously moody space. Being able to take a seat inside your closet to put your shoes on, designers *kiss*.
Episode 3 of #RockTheBlock had the first design challenge! The girls chose these gorgeous reclaimed Heart Pine wood planks as their design feature. We love how they used them in the closet space, such a cool vintage accent, very much in keeping with the flow of the rest of the home. The judges felt this paneling allowed for an often feminine space to read unisex, allowing for additional value added.
Lyndsay and Leslie were able to create a high design space fit for a multi-million dollar home. Embracing the 12' ceilings in this home, the girls chose to bring the glass almost all the way up, flanking the glass with a beautiful dark wood beam. The girls use these beams throughout the home, we love how they continued the natural wood tones and textures all over.
Lyndsay and Leslie chose black plumbing fixtures and iron faming for the glass surround, tying together the gorgeous blacks from the floor tiles. The dark beam and wood decor continuing the deep natural wood texture and tones from all over the home. We love the green tile stripe on the double shower-room walls, a beautiful glossy texture flanking the natural marble.
Double sink dreams are made in this extra large bathroom space. We love how Leslie and Lyndsay always bring their own twin design flair in every space they work on. Such a vibe with the green, black, white and natural tones. These mirrors are lit around the edges, allowing for the perfect lighting.
With a cozy daybed for guests and cafe table for dining this space is inviting and usable for all. Keeping the space light and airy Leslie and Lyndsay brought the previously half wall up to provide upper cabinet space and still let the light in from the windows on the other side.
Utilizing the smaller space to its fullest potential, Leslie and Lyndsay were able to provide this potential rental space with a beautiful kitchenette with full size oven/stove. This means the space could add extra income for the home. Or better yet a space for guests to call their own while visiting.
Cozy up and read a book in these divine swivel chairs or do some homework in style! This loft is a great versatile space that can be utilized in numerous ways.
A space for the kids to create, do homework, explore their potential! Lyndsay and Leslie made this pegboard wall and desks themselves! An added feature wall that is sure to bring out the inner child and inspire any person.
The peg board wall allows the space to grow as they go, you can change the placement of the pegs to suit all needs and ages.
The Exterior Episode, Lyndsay and Leslie tackled the exterior of this southern home on this episode of Rock The Block. Lyndsay and Leslie chose to cover most of the house in a gorgeous tumbled brick, reminiscent of the cobblestone streets Charleston. These bricks really bring the southern charm to the exterior.
Maximizing the front porch space of this charming home, Leslie and Lyndsay added this gorgeous porch swing and additional greenery. An inviting entrance to any visitor. We love the color of the shutters, and the sky painted ceiling.
An outdoor dining table directly out your backdoor off the outdoor kitchen, what more could you ask for. In need of some herbs for your dinner, the living wall is a beautiful feature Lyndsay and Leslie added that is both practical and sustainable. Providing the home a way to grow their own produce. In addition to the left a beautiful feature dog wash for your fury friend. Such a great idea for people looking to make a cost friendly addition to their backyard.
The back patio features a pizza/oyster roasting oven. In keeping with the Southern hospitality, Leslie and Lyndsay added this feature to the house because of the beloved tradition in Charleston for oyster roasts at holidays and celebrations.
Off the main suite Leslie and Lyndsay added stairs to an added patio with pergola. A private retreat in this backyard to lounge and enjoy the space. String lights above create a cozy environment once the sun sets, a cozy comfortable outdoor space.
